Greeting Cards for Australian Red Cross

 WHEN?

On an advertised Thursday (refer to calendar RED days) the creative space will be available between 1.00pm and 4.30pm for volunteers who are willing to come along and make cards to donate to Red Cross.

Red Cross volunteers will package your gorgeous cards and either ship them overseas to our defence force for return to family & loved ones back home, OR, donated to their gift shops for fundraising. Red Cross card-making will finish at the end of October, so we have limited time each year to reach our goal.

We donated 400+ Christmas cards fin 2018, and 500+ cards in 2019.

We're looking for more generous peeps this year, so if you're interested, please get in touch.
Our goal this year is to donate 500 cards for 2020.

This is a truly 'crafty' way for crafters to pay forward their joy at making cards.

The creative space has seating for 8 crafters with lots of room for rolling totes and/or large baskets of your BYO crafty gear.

Check the calendar for dates and times.

 WHAT TO BRING?

Where possible, please bring all your own materials and tools, especially adhesives.

Suggestions:
Old Christmas Cards may be revamped/refreshed/recycled onto new card bases.
Bring along some unused Christmas 12x12 pattern paper or scraps which can be added to existing 'scraps'.

Do you have left-over Cards from last year?
All donations of pre-made cards are welcome as well.
Red Cross will decide if they will be sent overseas or sold at their outlets.
